Top of the Rock
Challenge: Rockefeller Center’s Top of the Rock Observation Deck is one of New York’s premier spaces. Their design team wanted to transform an ordinary rectangular room into a dynamic curvilinear exhibit space. The goal was to work with the architects and designers to develop and fabricate details that included compound curves in opposing directions for large format graphics.
Solution: Big Apple Visual Group’s industrial design team surveyed and custom-developed an aluminum tubular framing system that supported matched compound-curved aluminum panels. A large-scaled sepia-toned wall mural was applied contiguously over the superstructure.
